To set up a new camp on www.CampApplication.com, just go to the site and click on: Sign Up As A Camp To Train Your Counselors.

Once you click on that link, you will be able to enter the camp information. There is no charge to set up your camp in 2021. You only pay for the training credits needed to train your people.

You will need the following…

Email
Camp Name
Camp Admin Name (main person)
Phone (number for the camp contact person)
Logo (This is ideally 5 MB or smaller in file size) – You will get an error if the file is too large.
Once your account is set up, you can access information on participants in the training, credits, and more from your Camp Admin Login.

1 Credit will train 1 person for a camp. Credits can be purchased by the camp or organization for the following pricing.

• 5 Credits for $10 each
• 10 Credits for $8 each
• 50 Credits for $7 eachh
• 100 Credits for $6 each
• 250 Credits for $5 each

To Register as a Participant on CampApplication.com, you will go to the main site and click on: Register For Training

You will then choose the camp that you will be participating in the training with. Click on that camp and it will take you to the sign in page. If you have not already created an account, click on “Create One” in order to set an account up.

>You will enter your email address and your first name and last name. Be sure to check the box below the sign up and then click the Sign Up button. You will receive an email with login instructions. If you do not receive the email within 5 minutes, you can simply go to the “Forgot password” link under sign in, and request a new password. Some email systems may send the instruction email to spam or junk. Be sure to check there before resetting the password.

Once you are in the system, click on Training on the left-hand side of the screen. Then click to start the training. Ideally, you complete the training in a single session. It should take you roughly 1 hour to complete. You will need to make a 70 or higher to pass the training on the 65 question exam. The exam questions are spread throughout the reading. You will answer 5 questions at the end of each reading section until you have finished the entire training. Your certificate will be available for download under Certificates on the left side of your screen if you passed.

Log back into your account. Once in your account, you will see a button that says certificate. Click on that to access your certificate.

Based on state requirements, you will need to complete the training at a minimum every 2 years. It can be completed more often than that, but two years is the minimum requirement.
